Transcription	[Letter] (copy) Fort Miller Cal Aug 20th 1851 Dear Sir I have succeeded in clearing the reservation of all the miners that were in it, when you were here, with the exception of one party who only wait the return of their animals to move. I was much pleased to accomplish this without the necessity of using force - though on the part of some there was much, bad feeling. Yours &c [Lt.][T.] J. Moore Col. Johnston Merced river. [Cover] J.
